SUMMARY:Empowerment Celebration
DESCRIPTION:On June 25\, Easterseals Massachusetts is hosting our most anticipated fundraiser of the year\, our signature Empowerment Celebration and Awards Ceremony.  This year we will be presenting our prestigious Team Hoyt Award to Comcast NBC-Universal for their commitment to our mission to provide services to ensure that children and adults with disabilities have equal opportunities to live\, learn\, work and play.  Other awards are being presented to Oswald Mondejar and Senate President\, Karen E. Spilka\, both are great advocates for the disability community and Easterseals MA champions.  \n\nOur Empowerment Celebration 2022 will be held at Wachusett Mountain in Princeton MA.  We are excited to offer both in-person and virtual attendance opportunities as well as an online auction this year.  The funds raised at the event will go to support non-funded or partially funded programs including: Camp\, Accessible Martial Arts\, College Navigator\, Veteran Services\, and our new Assistive Technology Van. Please see the attached letter from one of our most recent students participating in the College Navigator program. These underfunded programs rely heavily on this even and your support to continue.  Easterseals MA is proud to state that $.86 of every dollar raised goes directly into programs like these.
