DESCRIPTION:The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce's Healthcare Roundtable brings together local leaders\, experts\, and stakeholders\, to delve into pressing healthcare issues\, with a particular focus on health disparities within Worcester.\n\n\n\nOur December Roundtable will feature an insightful presentation by Stephanie Doan-Soares\, DrPH\, MPH\, the Senior Director of Health Policy and Equity at UMass Memorial Health's Office of Clinical Integration\, on health disparities in the City of Worcester.\n\n\n\n \n\nDoan-Soares will provide a comprehensive analysis of health inequalities prevalent in Worcester\, drawing attention to the systemic barriers that contribute to disparities in access to care\, outcomes\, and resources in different communities.\n\n\n\nThe Chamber seeks that this Roundtable will facilitate a dynamic exchange of ideas\, encouraging attendees to collaborate on solutions to bridge the gap in healthcare services\, promote preventative care\, and ensure that underserviced populations receive the support they need.\n\n\n\nThe Healthcare Roundtable is supported by Saint Vincent Hospital and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
