DESCRIPTION:The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce will be taking the Manufacturing Roundtable Series on the road to our Affiliate Chamber\, the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to a panel discussion on the topic of Supply Chain where we seek to focus on how area manufacturers are adapting their operations to the supply chain concerns in the present\, as well as what they are forecasting for the future. \n\n\n\nThe Supply Chain Panel will be moderated by Ashley Bregman\, Executive Director of the Blackstone Valley Hub for Workforce Development. Ashley has a background in the STEM environment for both secondary and post-secondary education\, in which she focuses her experience on how to increase equity in access to vocational training and education.\n\n \n\nJoshua Chernin - Partner - Business Improvement Group\, LLC\n\nJosh has more than 30 years of manufacturing and operations leadership experience in the US and Europe. He's had P&L responsibilities in printing\, metals\, converting\, contract manufacturing\, and textiles\, consulted to many manufacturers\, and visited over 300 manufacturing plants. Josh has deep experience in medical devices and aerospace and is an expert project manager. Josh has a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts\, Amherst\, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.\n\n\n\nMatt Gattreau - Director of Manufacturing - Fulcrum Acoustic \n\nAs Director of Manufacturing\, Matt oversees all the people and processes in our factory to maximize efficiency. Matt is a veteran of the Navy where he was a nuclear engineer. He once spent 7 consecutive months underwater in a submarine and also lived on a remote tropical island for a year. \n\n\n\nJohn Biagioni - President - Lampin Corporation\n\nAs the President of Lampin Corporation Mr. Biagioni brings a wealth of manufacturing and leadership experience to the company and this panel. He began his career as a machinist\, and he has held numerous positions at other companies in the manufacturing sector with significant expertise in procurement and management. The diverse range of manufacturing\, operations\, and leadership functions Mr. Biagioni has held\, gives him a unique perspective with a sharp focus on problem-solving. Mr. Biagioni is also an expert in the analysis and design of IoT-driven smart systems that can improve the efficiency of business processes to deliver additional layers of value for customers.\n\n\n\nMatthew Bennett - Director of Supply Chain\n\nAbbvie Bioscience Research Center\n\n \n\nMore information will be provided as to the panelists participating in the Roundtable once we get closer to the event.
