DESCRIPTION:Beloved Coach George Albro '65 built a legacy of leadership and sportsmanship at Worcester State University.  This culture still exists today.  Building champions in the classroom\, champions in competition\, and champions of character was important to George\, and the Annual George H. Albro Memorial Golf Tournament supports his mission to provide our coaches and staff with the resources necessary to fund a\n\nquality student-athlete experience.\n\n\n\nThe 2023 George H. Albro Memorial Tournament will be held on August 7th at the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston\, MA.  All funds raised are directly allocated to easing the financial needs of our athletic teams.  We encourage you to enjoy a fun filled day of golf while supporting a specific Lancer team or the\n\nAthletics Department.   \n\n\n\nOur student athletes work year-round to achieve their athletic and academic goals\, while balancing their financial obligations.  The Albro Tournament serves as the flagship athletic fundraising event to help WSU Lancers ease out-of-pocket expenses for equipment\, uniforms travel and more.  \n\n\n\nJoin us to celebrate George's legacy and the start of another successful year for\n\nWorcester State University Athletics.
