Family Literacy Festival

The Family Literacy Festival is a free, community-centered celebration of reading and learning for families of all ages. Taking place on Sunday, September 7, 2025, the event features interactive storytelling sessions, local author meet-and-greets, cultural performances, hands-on literacy activities, and resource booths from schools and community organizations as well as local vendors and food trucks. Designed to promote family engagement and foster a love of reading, the festival offers fun for children and caregivers alike—think puppet shows, book giveaways, craft corners, and literacy-based games. With no admission fee, attendees simply register, show up, and enjoy a day of uplifting, educational connection. It’s a warm, inclusive space where families can explore the joy of words together, discover new resources, and build lasting memories around learning.
