“TREK Sturbridge Halloween 5K” Family-Friendly Race Event
5K Trail Race, 1K Road Race & 5K Trail Walk

The Rotary Club of Sturbridge is delighted to bring to our community this combination of timed races and other activities:
• a timed 5K Trail Run ($35)
• a Fun Walk on the same 5K trail ($30)
• a timed 1K Road Race for pre-teens (12 years & under) & handicapped folks ($20)
• a costume parade, relay races and organized games for young children. (Free)

So please join us the morning of Sunday, October 29th, 2023.  
HALLOWEEN COSTUMES are encouraged !!!!  

Pre-registration is via the website link below, with on-site registration on the day beginning at 8 AM. Registration is not required to attend the free children’s games.  

The event will be held at the Old Sturbridge Village Education Center on Old Sturbridge Village Road (not to be confused with the Old Sturbridge Village Academy) and will use the well-groomed Arbutus Park Trail in the Leadmine Mt. Conservation Lands for the 5K Race and also the 5K Walk.

The 1K Pre-Teen Race will also start and finish at the same location as the 5K Race, but is a Road Race.

The free Children’s Games will begin at 9 AM at the Education Center, with the 1K Race starting at 9:30 AM, and the 5K Race at 10 AM.

The Awards Ceremony will be by the Registrations Booth at approx. 11:15 AM.

Parking is at the Education Center, on Old Sturbridge Village Road.

The first 20 1K racers and the first 100 5K racers to register will get a free TREK Sturbridge Halloween 5K T-shirt. Only ADULT shirt sizes are available, so select carefully for young 1K racers!

This is a Sturbridge Rotary Club fundraiser, with all profits going to local student scholarships and other community needs projects.
